Sant’Abbondio is a Romanesque basilica in Como. It was built, on the site of a pre-existing church Palaeo- Christian from Amanzio, the 3rd bishop of Como.
Next to the basilica, there is a medieval cloister that today is one of the campuses of Insubria University.
The basilica is open 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., in Winter from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
